WA 2025 Tertiary Engagement Program - Speaker EOI
We are seeking expressions of interest from our WA members that would like join to our Branch representatives to speak at a future tertiary engagement event, by creating a database of potential speakers.
As part of WA Branch's Tertiary Engagement Program, the WA Young Water Professionals (YWP) Subcommittee aim to organise a student engagement/careers in water event with our WA universities each year.
The format of the events vary from, for example, giving a guest lecture, being part of a careers in water presentation (incorporating your AWA membership journey), or invite only session with students from a water related discipline, either during a lunch break, during a lecture or may be after hours.
The aim of the tertiary engagement events are to discuss what a career in the water sector can look like, as well as to increase awareness of the Australian Water Association with our tertiary students.
If you are interested in being a potential future speaker, please complete our SPEAKER EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM and provide us with some information about yourself including your level of expertise and experience.
Please note that this is a long running program and we may only have resources to run one event per semester so you may not be contacted immediately.
