WA 2025 Sundowner Corporate Host EOI

Would your organisation like to host one of our bi-monthly sundowners in 2025? In February, April, June, August and October 2025 the WA Branch will run informal networking events in the form of after-work Sundowner drinks. 

In 2025 we're continuing to offer our Corporate Members the opportunity to host a sundowner at your office/premises. Sundowners will be held on the third Wednesday of February, April, June, August and October 2025 from 5.15pm to 6.30pm WST.

As a host, you will have the opportunity for a 5-minute business elevator pitch style conversation, designed as a conversation starter at the event.

Technical presentations/powerpoint slides are NOT permitted. You may however run a no-sound video loop of your key projects, in the background whilst your speaker provides your business elevator pitch.

The AWA can provide a speaker and microphone for the speaker(s) if the corporate host is unable to provide these facilities.

In return, all we ask is that you provide us with a space for between 30-50 people with some drinks and nibbles.

Sundowners are free events and registration is required. We will create an event webpage, registration platform and communication of the event to our member/subscriber database in line with our Communications Strategy. We can include the host's logo in communications. Hosts are welcome to undertake social media posts promoting the event, in line with AWA guidelines and branding. Guests numbers will be provided approx. 3-4 days beforehand for catering purposes. A delegate list may be provided to the host however the Australian Water Association does not share delegate contact information.
