Join us for our April sundowner to hear from Eelko Van Der Vaart of OneStone Consulting about "How do we manage the complexity of our water systems in an increasingly digital world? "
From February to October the WA Branch Committee will host monthly informal networking events in the form of after-work Sundowner drinks. Each month we'll have an interesting topic for discussion and the opportunity to meet and catch up with others working in water. Our sundowners are free for both AWA members and non-members and you are welcome to bring a friend.

April Guest Speaker
|
Eelko Van Der Vaart, Managing Director and Principal Consultant at OneStone Consulting
With devices connected to the internet everywhere, black boxes talking to black boxes and the impact of a single line of code increasing as the world gets more connected and complex, Eelko will be leading a discussion around “How do we manage the complexity of our water systems in an increasingly digital world?”
|
Eelko knows a thing or two about designing control systems in highly dynamic and integrated water systems, such as Perth’s Integrated Water Supply Scheme. He undertook the control system modelling for Nicholson Rd Pump Station for the integration of the Perth Seawater Desalination Plant back in 2006 (an award-winning project) and has recently redesigned the control systems of two of Perth’s major pump stations. He is currently working with the Water Corporation on the integration of the Alkimos Desalination Plant.
