The AWA Victorian Branch is pleased to host its next Technical Event.

Join us for an insightful evening featuring three fascinating speakers discussing the latest advancements and innovations in the water industry. Enjoy the enriching discussions, network with industry peers, with non-alcoholic beverages and canapés as we envision the future of the water sector.

The content that will be covered includes:

Pratik: Discover how water utilities are navigating significant changes driven by rapid technological advancements, data reliance, and evolving customer expectations. Learn about the application of systems-thinking to enhance digital transformation, address emerging challenges, and uncover new opportunities in technology adoption, data management, and regulatory compliance.

Tamara: Explore South East Water’s groundbreaking Environmental Sensitivity Map, an innovative tool designed to identify and protect environmental sensitivities within their service area. Gain insights into how this tool is used for incident response, environmental planning, and achieving real biodiversity improvements beyond traditional risk management.

Yan: Delve into the world of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its transformative impact on the water industry. Understand BIM’s practical implementation through a case study of the Melbourne Water/John Holland Resource Recovery and Reuse Complex, highlighting its use throughout the project lifecycle for construction understanding, design collaboration, and materials and cost control.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from industry leaders about the future of water utilities, environmental protection, and innovative construction technologies.

As part of AWA’s objective to share, connect and inspire, we’re also keen for you to bring an emerging leader or early career professional from your organisation to the event with you.

Thanks to Melbourne Water and Metasphere for supporting this event.
