Join fellow AWA YPs and the SA YWP committee members for an engaging workshop on Communication and Positively Influencing People, sponsored by Becca HunterH2O and supported by Persuasive Presentations. This event will highlight the criticality of effective communication and share practical strategies to influence opinions to drive positive results.
The workshop will be led by our Keynote Speaker, Sharon Ferrier, from Persuasive Presentations.
Sharon has over 20 years' experience in helping professionals learn how to effectively communicate and deliver persuasive presentations. Sharon has a knack for making the complex simple. She believes that ‘passionate people persuade’ and that to make your message stick, you need to balance information with delivery style. Sharon excels at helping people shine.
With a background in science, sales, marketing and management she bridges the gap between products, services, industry, customers and clients. Sharon helps individuals realise their potential of delivering compelling pitches, securing funding, crafting award-winning keynotes, and communicating with confidence to influence and inspire others. This interactive workshop will provide opportunities for participants to engage with Sharon and gain insights on being confident and effective when delivering messages in all forms of communication.
Sharon also delivers keynotes and workshops on presentation skills, networking, and corporate storytelling. Sharon coaches senior people ranging from CEO’s and entrepreneurs to Professors and PhD’s helping them to be engaging and persuasive presenters and enabling them to win pitches, tenders, fellowships and grants.
The workshop will wrap up with some time to network over drinks and canapes with your fellow water professionals.
