The SA Branch of the Australian Water Association is pleased to partner with the University of South Australia to bring the next Industry & Academia event focused on Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM).
IWRM has a long history but is not always easy to achieve, primarily because it usually involves tackling multiple objectives simultaneously.
The event will showcase examples of IWRM and the types of research that help address contemporary IWRM challenges.
Hear from visiting experts like Dr Greg Sixth, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) along with updates from the Department for Environment and Water, SA Water and Professor Erica Donner, CEO CRC SAAFE.
Agenda
4:00 – UniSA working with industry
4:20 – An international perspective on lessons from IWRM
4:45 – Local industry and SA government perspectives
5:15 – Business meets the researchers – a roundtable of experts
6:00 – Networking drinks and nibbles
