Topic – Water Markets and the Murray-Darling Basin Plan
In this session, Ben will explain one of Australia's most ambitious agreements, the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. He will discuss its objectives, implementation, and the impact of recent Commonwealth legislative changes on water markets. Ben will explain how these legislative and policy developments play out in water markets and what challenges (and opportunities) this presents for irrigators and regional communities.
