This breakfast is a fabulous opportunity to hear from the Hon Nick Champion MP, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Housing Infrastructure, Minister for Planning and Member for Taylor.
Join us for the 2025 SA Minister's Breakfast to explore the theme of Enabling Growth - Planning South Australia's Sustainable Future, covering issues and opportunities around the following...
- Enabling growth – considering skills, employment, as well as infrastructure required to support the anticipated growth in South Australia
- Planning – what lessons have been learned from the past, what changes in process and innovations are being adopted to ensure prudent investment in supporting infrastructure and better visibility of forward plans – for government, utilities and private sector entities
- Creating a sustainable future – what measures are being taken to ensure what we build will support future generations, considering the pressures of a changing climate on our resources - including water, energy and materials – and impacts on the cost of living, and liveability (cooler, greener, wilder)
- Learning from others – how are we looking beyond SA to consider how best to leverage the investments being made for long term benefits. What innovations are we investing in, particularly in a water industry context, such as alternative and fit for purpose water use, purified recycled water, etc.
Network with fellow water professionals as you enjoy a stand-up breakfast before hearing from the Minister for Housing and Urban Development of South Australia. There will be time for questions and the morning will conclude with some additional networking time.
