QLD June Technical Event

"Sustainability Reporting and Opportunities for the Water Sector"

The AWA Queensland Branch invites you to a technical event to explore the implications of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting Standards on organisations in the water sector.

Focus on sustainability through the ESG perspectives is currently being driven by various government parties led by Treasury. Mandatory reporting against the recently legislated Australian Sustainability Report Standards (ASRS) and the Safeguard Mechanism, as well as government encouragement to adopt TCFD and TNFD disclosure frameworks are all pointing towards their willingness to incorporate Sustainability throughout all levels of Australian industry.

With thanks to our host Seqwater, this technical event will provide various perspectives and experience of how organisations approach the adoption of these frameworks and how this is reported to regulatory bodies. It is intended to be a guided call to information and response for those in the water industry who are either mandated or have volunteered to adopt reporting standards.

Join us in Brisbane for a panel discussion followed by networking or purchase an online registration or corporate boardroom pass to participate in the livestream and virtual Q&A.
