International Women's Day Webinar 2025 - March Forward: Empowerment, safety and equity in the water sector

Icon of a calendar 6 Mar, 2025 | Small clock icon 12.30pm AEDT

Join us Tuesday 06 March to celebrate International Women's Day 2025.

Join us for a powerful online panel session hosted by WSAA and the AWA in honour of International Women’s Day 2025, aligned with the UN’s theme March Forward.

This year’s discussion will focus on the urgent issue of family violence, a crisis that impacts us all. Our panellists will explore:

  • How family violence affects everyone, whether directly or through someone we know and work with
  • The lasting consequences of family violence, including financial abuse
  • The crucial role of leaders—both male and female—in our sector to drive change and contribute to the solution
  • The responsibility of organisations in fostering a supportive environment for customers and employees, and creating a culture of respect and safety

Be part of this vital conversation as we work together to march forward and end family violence.

If you or someone you know has experienced domestic, family and sexual violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732, text 0458 737 732 or visit www.1800RESPECT.org.au for online chat and video call services.
