AWA members are invited to join a free Introduction to Intellectual Property (IP) Workshop presented by IP Australia.
IP is the property of your mind or proprietary knowledge, a new idea you create. This can be an invention, trade mark, design, brand or even the application of your idea.
The Introduction to Intellectual Property Workshop will help you understand why IP is an important part of any business strategy, and provide you with information about patents, trade marks, designs and plant breeders rights.
The one hour workshop will be presented by one of IP Australia’s patent examiners and an IP Australia trade mark examiner who will share copyright and trade secrets and an overview of taking your IP global (exporting your product).
Presenters: Kelly Hitchens and Euan Bowen
