To be held face-to-face in Sydney in 2022, the Australian Water Association and International Water Association Young Water Professionals Conference will bring together tomorrow’s leaders to explore how they can leave their mark on our Water Future.

In a rapidly evolving world, innovative solutions are needed to solve the challenges faced by the local and international water industry. As future water leaders, we all have a role to play in shaping the way forward, as we inherit this industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Young Water Professionals to showcase their contributions to the water sector, plan for its future and inspire change among industry leaders and their peers.

The two day conference features over 30 presentations and 8 interactive workshop and panel sessions, complemented by social functions including a Conference Dinner, Amazing Race and informal networking opportunities. Following the Conference are two optional Site Tours that can be added to a Conference registration.

COVIDSafe Event Guidelines
The Australian Water Association has closely followed Government recommendations to develop COVIDSafe Guidelines for AWA events going forward. These guidelines will be in place at this event and have been developed to ensure attendee health and safety. Your support is also essential to keep this event COVIDSafe. We ask that delegates observe good hygiene and physical distancing at the event, where possible. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event. Please email events@awa.asn.au at least 24 hours prior to the event if you are unable to attend due to illness. Under these circumstances a transfer of your registration to a colleague will be accepted at no cost. If Government restrictions impact your ability to attend, or AWA's ability to hold the event, an AWA team member will be in touch to discuss your registration.
