ACT Sundowner November 2024 - Tour of Denman Water Sensitive Urban Design Assets

The Young Water Professionals of the ACT AWA Branch are excited to invite you for a walking tour of the WSUD assets at the Denman North Estate, followed by networking at the Denman Kitchen on Thursday 7th November from 5pm to 7:30pm. 

This free event will be held on Thursday 7th November and is a great opportunity to learn more about WSUD assets and engage with other water professionals in the region. 

The tour will be led by Nicholas Evans from Spiire, who was the design engineer for this project. The tour will include a visit to key WSUD assets including a Sediment basin, Bioretention Basin and Water Quality Control Pond. The tour will include an overview of treatment processes, development responsibilities and benefits of integrated design.  

Following the tour, we will move to the Denman Kitchen for networking.

Sundowner events are open to anyone with an interest in the water industry, and present an opportunity to meet with other professionals, regardless of experience levels.
