The tour begins with a visit to Phillip Island - Westernport Water, where you’ll see their innovative floating wetland at Cowes WWTP and after a site visit to Candowie Reservoir, where you'll gain an understanding of their water management strategies. Next, we will explore the state-of-the-art Victorian Desalination Plant, gaining insights into crucial technologies for future water resilience.
On Friday evening, enjoy a casual dinner at the Wooli Tavern, where you can share experiences, discuss water resilience strategies, and connect with fellow participants, before a stay at Silverwater Resort overlooking the bay.
Finally, the tour concludes with a site visit to Gippsland Water’s Drouin Wastewater Treatment Plant on Saturday before returning back to Melbourne.
