ACT water and sewerage utility Icon Water has been partnering with Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS) ACT for a number of years, with the aim of helping Canberrans be free of domestic violence.
The difference that DVCS has made to the lives of many people is extraordinary and Icon Water says it knows there are many others who would benefit from its work. However, it needs more funding to make that happen.
That is why, this year, the utility has decided to step its support up and invite others to help.
A number of Icon Water employees have committed to the DVCS Shave for the Brave fundraiser, including the company's managing director Ray Hezkial. Icon Water has also set up a CrowdRaiser so that others can donate to this important cause.
Every dollar makes a difference and contributes to ending domestic violence in the ACT. Team Icon Water consists of Hezkial and staff Matthew Quirk, Marcus Singh, Shaan Nariman, Trond Antonson, Galani Dube and Romano Gaspardis.
People can support the work of DVCS by donating to the Icon Water CrowdRaiser and sharing the link with their friends and family.
Where does the money go?
Icon Water would like to thank each and every person who donates to DVCS.
