Australia’s new graduates will be taking note of Australia’s newly released list of the Top 75 Graduate Employers for 2021. It’s great to see that Sydney Water took out the number one spot, with several other AWA corporate members also recognised.
Over 3,200 graduates were anonymously surveyed between November and December 2020. They were asked to rate their employer on around 25 different categories including:
- Orientation or induction program
- Training and development program
- Quality of work
- Career progression
- Supervisor or manager
- Compensation and benefits
- Work/life balance
- Company culture
All the individual responses from graduates at a particular employer were combined and used to determine the overall average rating for that organisation. The same process was then followed for each separate employer to produce an overall average rating for each organisation.
Employers listed in the top 75 were the organisations that provided the most positive experience for new graduates based on the opinions of graduates themselves. Determined entirely from survey feedback, gathered from graduates who had spent 12 months in the workforce, these rankings provide a definitive guide of the best places to work across the country.
