Global professional services company GHD has appointed Brad Gale as its National Water Advisor.
Gale will work with GHD’s large national water team to help clients prepare and position for the future of water and leave sustainable legacies for people and communities. This newly created role, reporting directly to GHD’s Australian Market Leader – Water, Lindsey Brown, will be key to GHD’s pursuit of client and delivery excellence.
Gale draws on more than 25 years’ water sector experience, with a strong focus on client relationship management and account management responsibilities for some of Australia’s largest water utilities. His most recent role was ANZ Market Director Water for Jacobs.
“My experience in the water industry has cemented my view that water remains an undervalued resource in so many ways,” Gale said. “Our health and wellbeing are inextricably linked to how well we manage our water resources, and we know our clients are under increasing pressure to respond.
“As a senior practitioner in this space, I’m excited about the level of technical expertise and inclusive culture that exists across the GHD network to unlock new possibilities for our clients and communities.”
“We’re thrilled to have Brad on board to amplify our ability to deliver compelling solutions to our clients on complex issues associated with climate change, decarbonisation and increasing delivery costs,” said Brown.
“Brad has an outstanding reputation for building and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships, and a deep understanding of the water industry. I am personally so excited to work more closely with Brad, someone who has already made an incredible contribution to our sector and will continue to do so with a new platform and mandate at GHD.”
Brad holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Hons) and is a member of Engineers Australia and the Australian Water Association.
