Arup appoints Jackie Moss as Victoria Water Business Leader
Arup has announced that Jackie Moss has been appointed as the new leader of theirr Victorian Water Business. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the water industry, Jackie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.
Jackie joins Arup from Melbourne Water, where she held key positions, including serving as the Head of
Service Enablement One Water. Her tenure at Melbourne Water was marked by significant contributions to
the development of the Western Treatment Plant, the organisation's largest augmentation program, and the
implementation of sustainability initiatives, including energy planning, greenhouse gas emissions reduction
programs, resource recovery initiatives, and contributing to the planning of the organization's 5-year goals for
decarbonisation and circular economy.
In her new role at Arup, Jackie will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the Victorian water
business, with a focus on helping water utility clients to increase treatment and distribution system resilience,
supporting decarbonisation, and enhancing water security. Her commitment to delivering sustainable,
customer-focused outcomes and her ability to translate complex technical challenges into effective solutions
align perfectly with Arup's mission to shape a sustainable future.
Jackie's leadership will also be key in enhancing client engagement and developing innovative water projects.
She will work closely with Arup's local, regional and global leadership teams to foster strong relationships and
deliver impactful solutions.
Jackie is a member of the Engineers Australia, is a Chartered Professional Engineering (Environmental and
Chemical) and holds Bachelor of Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Chemistry (BE/BSc Hons1), and
a Masters of Business Administration
