Conference Sub-Themes are:

- Regional Water Strategies / Management / Water reform
- Water quality – community safety in our hands
- Water security
- Indigenous water engagement
- Global connections
- Innovation & collaboration
- Water reuse / circular economy

Delegates will be provided with opportunities to:
- SHARE: information and knowledge that is relevant to regional NSW
- CONNECT: with members and water professionals from diverse industries
- INSPIRE: each other to make a positive change within the water industry; both urban and rural

The conference will continue to provide a strong technical focus and the forum for social interaction and networking that delegates have come to expect from the event. Papers and presentations will provide learnings, insights and showcase approaches to water management and infrastructure relevant to the region. The series of NSW Regional Conferences have been very successful over the years, with over 130 people attending recent regional conferences.

The NSW Branch Committee and YWP sub committee are hosting the Great Regional Debate. Participants at the state conference will debate innovation and its place in the regional water industry, including the appetite for risk, the priority it should have and whether we should celebrate it or not.
Delegates will decide who has the best argument, and what the NSW Regional Water Champions should focus on going forward.

What are Shocks and Disruptions?
Day 2 : Thursday 18 August at 9:40am
We have gathered industry experts to provide an interactive panel discussion on what are the shocks and disruptions facing the water sector, how we are responding, and how we can harness new technologies such as nanosatellites and remote sensing to improve our resilience.
