This award recognises professionals under the age of 35 who are either water sector practitioners, or from research/academia. Awardees will have had an outstanding career achievement to date and the potential to play a large influential role in the water industry in the future. Awarded to an outstanding young water professional who has demonstrated a commitment to the water sector.
Eligibility
Open to all individual AWA members under 35 years of age.
criteria
• At least twelve months work or research experience
• Significant contribution to the water industry
• Demonstrated exceptional achievement in the early stages of their water career
• High level of academic achievement
• Commitment to volunteer activities
• Outstanding communication skills

Submissions must include the following information:
• A completed nomination form
• An executive summary outlining the main reason for the nomination (maximum 500 words)
• Detailed information introducing the nominee and addressing the criteria (maximum 4 A4 pages)
• Photo (jpg or similar format)
• A single powerpoint slide for promotional purposes
• Biography (minimum 180 words, maximum 300 words)
• Two letters of reference
• Curriculum vitae summarising relevant experience and academic achievements to date (maximum 2 A4 pages)
