    The AWA NSW Branch Water Awards is the highest accolade that currently exists in the NSW Water Industry. The NSW awards have been designed to acknowledge the best of the best in the NSW Water Sector as well as recognise exceptional achievements in a range of project and individual categories. 

     

    Building on past success, the 2012 Awards are in line with the AWA National Awards and provide the opportunity for the NSW winners to enter in the National Awards which are presented at Ozwater each year.   

     

    On Thursday 21st February 2013 The NSW Branch held the Awards Presentation evening at the Star Room Sydney. At this event, the winners & finalists for the various awards categories were announced in front of a large crowd of Water Industry Professionals. We would like to thank all nominees for their award submissions, the event Sponsor- John Holland, and award sponsor UGL for their contribution to the awards program and success of the evening.

    We are pleased to announce the winners and finalist for the various awards categories below.

    NSW Infrastructure Innovation Award-  Sponsored by UGL 

    Winner – State Water Corporation and Water for Rivers (joint entry) for the Computer Aided River Management (CARM) Project
    State Water Corporation - winner 

    Finalists – Ishigaki Oceania for the Clarence Valley Council Fixed and Mobile Screw Press Biosolids Dewatering 
                     - State Water Corporation for the Fish River water supply pipeline replacement project

    NSW Program Innovation Award

    Winner
    – NSW Department of Primary Industries, Office of Water (in partnership with other NSW agencies) for the Hawkesbury – Nepean River Recover Program
