Chief Executive

Tom Mollenkopf is the Chief Executive of the Australian Water Association, a role he commenced in May 2007.

Between 2005 and 2007 Tom was Deputy Executive Director of the International Water Association based in London and from 1995 to 2005 he was an executive at South East Water in Melbourne. Tom’s background is in law, first in private practice and then as corporate counsel.

Tom has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Jurisprudence (with studies in Economics and Politics) and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University.

He is also a member of the Governing Assembly, International Water Association and the International Committee, American Water Works Association as well as serving on numerous advisory committees and panels. Tom is also active in Surf Life Saving and is Chair of the Life Saving Victoria Review Committee.
