The Australian Water Association (AWA) is seeking an experienced and qualified Marketing Coordinator to improve and maintain AWA’s marketing strategies across all mediums.
Working in a small but busy environment you will be responsible for giving AWA a highly visible brand across all activities including events, training and international programs. To be suitable for this role you should have great enthusiasm for your work, be a motivated self starter and quick learner, have the ability to manage to tight deadlines, and have oral and written communication skills.

As a part of the Senior Management Team and reporting to the CEO, this position will lead a team in fostering relationships with AWA members and stakeholders for engagement activities to facilitate networking, knowledge-sharing, and investment and export opportunities. The successful applicant will have commercial acumen, high level communication skills and awareness of the domestic and international trade environments. Five to ten years’ commercial experience and a tertiary qualification in Management, Law or Business is required.
Salary: Up to $120k

This role provides policy advice to staff and members to produce reports, submissions and briefs on water policy issues – both state and federal.
The successful applicant will be experienced in collating, analysing and reporting on policy issues and data, and will have an understanding of issues impacting on the water sector.
The successful applicant ideally will have experience in the water or resources sector, excellent written communication skills and have an understanding of State and Federal Government policy development processes. A tertiary qualification is required, preferably in Public Policy, Business, Science or Economics.
Salary: $75 - $80k depending on experience.
