Australian Water Association makes moves for a digital-first futureThe Australian Water Association is expanding its digital offering for members and the public with a new information hub designed to make it easier to access water-related content anytime and anywhere.

The new information hub, called Water Source, is designed to be a one-stop-shop for water industry professionals and the public for all water-related content created and curated by the Association.
With a renewed focus on digital content, the Association will be reducing the frequency of its print magazine, Current, to two bumper issues per year. These will be April (leading in to Ozwater and distributed at Ozwater) and October (aligning with major events occurring around the country). The next issue of Current will be distributed in October 2018.

Australian Water Association Chief Executive Jonathan McKeown said the combination of the new information hub and Current will provide a holistic view of the water industry and cover a range of topics that are relevant to water industry professionals.

“We know our members want to be able to access our resources wherever they are, and Water Source will bring all our information together into one easy-to-navigate hub. While we will still publish our print magazine, Current, the new site will make us a truly digital-first association.”

Water Source will make it easier than ever for our members and the wider public to search for and access water-related content. It will be the place where they can explore the big issues in detail and keep up with the latest developments in water,” he said.

“We look forward to launching the new information hub within the next few months and expanding our services to our members.”
