Ray Borg 

Ray BorgRay is an accomplished and a seasoned professional having held a variety of senior executive positions since 1992. Ray’s people and business management capabilities are complemented with a diverse array of technical skills gained from over 35 years experience. With a focus on Water, Environmental and Sustainability acquired from the Chemical Industry, Water Utilities, Manufacturing and the Consulting Industry enables Ray to provide innovative and practical solutions to water quality and environmental issues with a sustainability bent. This includes an understanding of all aspects of life cycle analysis, quality and compliance requirements for the Water and Environment segments. Respected and revered for his ability to be strategic and innovative over many years have been the hallmark of his longevity in the water sector. Ray is also a registered Lead International Environmental Auditor with Exemplar Global.

 Outside his passion for his profession, Ray is a father of six (yes 6, not a typo) who enjoys time with the immediate and extended family, many sports, in particular watching the trials and tribulations of the team he is currently coaching (Under 15’s boys & girls), the awesome Manchester United (EPL), The Socceroos, The Matilda’s, The Wallabies and the Navy Blues (AFL). Ray’s other interests include Innovation, Analytical Problem Solving, People, Photography, Watching & Coaching Sport (Soccer), Sustainability, Raising Children, Science & Technology, Mentoring the next generation of water quality scientists.

Bruce Sinclair 

Bruce Sinclair (Co ordinator Liquid Trade Waste & Plumbing Gosford City Council) has in excess of 30 years in the wastewater Industry in the Regulatory area with Gosford City Council and previously with The Sydney Waterboard. He has been in the Liquid Trade Waste in the Regulatory role at Gosford City Council for 20  years. He was responsible for developing the Liquid Trade Waste Policy for Gosford City Council. He is responsible for a team of Trade Waste and Plumbing Officers which cover all hydraulic , backflow regulations. He was responsible for ensuring that liquid trade waste charges and fees were best practice pricing for Gosford City Council.
He has always been passionate about liquid trade waste (source management control) and educating stakeholders in that area. Previously was a committee member of NSW AWA Trade Waste Committee .

 

Paul Hudson 

Paul Hudson is a Licenced Plumber who operated his own Plumbing business in Sydney in the late 1990's and early 2000's. He moved his family to Mackay when he accepted a position with Mackay Regional Council as a Trade Waste Inspector in 2006. He was promoted to Senior Trade Waste Inspector in 2010. With his previous experience and current position with Council, Paul has a wealth of knowledge at the ground level of Trade Waste. Including types of pre-treatment apparatus', levels of compliance, and the impact on business and sewage treatment plants. This is his fourth year as a member of the AWA Source Management Committee.


Martin Connolly

Martin and Wastelink have been involved in compliance systems for the industry since 1991. Having gained a BE (Eng Sc) from Auckland University in 1975, Martin went straight into the software industry and has worked on systems for a wide variety of industries - timber, abbatoirs, clothing, metal workshops, sectors of the music industry, medical laboratories, government departments and many more.
He believes there is still much that can be done, with the sensible use of technology, to enhance compliance processes in the industry.
