The opening day of Vietwater 2016 commenced on 9 November at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre where over 10,000 delegates made their way through the exhibition, including VIPs from across the Vietnam water sector and the globe.

The atmosphere on the first day of the exhibition was spectacular. The Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Craig Chittick, and Australian Consulate-General Karen Lanyon, together with the representatives of Austrade, visited the Australian Pavilion in the early morning. They met with all 20 Australian exhibitors before heaidng off to present at the Vietwater Opening Ceremony.

At the Australian booth, exhibitors had the opportunity to meet with VIPs from the Vietnamese Government and many Vietnamese water professionals. Exhibiting at the Australian Pavilion gave them the chance to introduce their business, demonstrate their innovative solutions, as well as showcase the Australian water sector as a sector worthy of collaborating with.

The Australian exhibitors look forward to meeting many more water professionals at the Australian booth and at their workshops within the next couple days of the Exhibition.
